On All Souls Day we remember…

All Souls Day is a time when the Church commemorates all the faithful departed. Bill DeWitte, SCJ, (1914-1994) a missionary, and later a member of the Canadian Region. It was written by Fr. Peter McKenna, SCJ, who was with Fr. Bill when he died.

On October 22, the family celebrated its first year in Canada. They did so by thanking those who helped them through food: a meal of Syrian dishes.
