Over and over we hear the news of yet another shooting. Just yesterday, 19 children were killed by gunfire in Texas. We pray for their families, but just as strongly, we pray that their deaths aren’t in vain, that measures will be taken to minimize the risk of such unfathomable violence and pain happening yet again. Amen.
