Mission Education – The next Mission Education Conference will be October 13-4 at St. Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota. The schedule outline:
Saturday, October 12 – Participants are encouraged to arrive by Saturday evening; welcoming committees will be at both the AmericInn and Arrowwood (Cedar Shore) from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Dinner is on your own.
Sunday, October 13 – Registration and light breakfast will be available at St. Joseph’s Indian School starting at 9:00 a.m. A Lakota Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a full day of activities including lunch and dinner.
Monday, October 14 – An optional Mass will be available at 7:00 a.m. At 8:15 a.m., all participants are encouraged to take part in the Four Directions Prayer Service. The day is scheduled until approximately 4:00 p.m. Mission Education concludes at this time.
Tuesday, October 15 – An optional Mass will be available at 7:00 a.m. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., there will be an optional reservation tour. This will be completed by noon.

Dehon Lecture – Journalist Austen Ivereigh will be the featured speaker at the November 13 Dehon Lecture at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology. The lecture begins at 9:00 a.m., Eucharist will be at 11:15 a.m. and the Response Panel will be at 1:00 p.m. Respondents include Fr. Stefan Tertünte, SCJ (director of the Centro Studi Dehoniani), Kurt Martens and Peter Casarella. The day’s activities will conclude by 4:00 p.m.
