September 22: feast of SCJ martyr
On September 22 we remember and celebrate the life of Fr. Juan María de la Cruz. On March 11, 2001, Pope John Paul II declared him blessed along with other 233 martyrs of the Spanish Civil War. He was the first member of the Priests of the Sacred Heart to be named blessed.
