Fr. Ray Vega, former missionary and medic, dies in Florida

Fr. Ray Vega, SCJ, died early March 6 in Pinellas Park, FL. He was 94. Originally from East Chicago, Ind., Fr. Ray pursued his religious vocation after serving in the US Navy. He was active during both World War II and the Korean Conflict as a hospital corpsman.
