The general administration of the Priests of the Sacred Heart encourages its members, co-workers and other collaborators to commemorate “World Day for Water” on Monday, March 22. The day was organized by the United Nations in 1992 following the Rio de Janeiro conference on climate change.
This year’s theme for the day: “Clean Water for a Healthy World.”
The Passionists have created several materials (available in five languages, including English) to help honor and celebrate the day. Go to the Passionists’ web site to download a suggested liturgy as well as view videos related to the theme of “Clean Water for a Healthy World.”
